How to Remove Gel Nail Polish
Step 1: Wait a Day or So
Once you've applied your gel nail polish, it's important to wait a day or so before attempting to remove it. This will give the polish time to fully cure and harden, making it easier to remove without damaging your nails.
Step 2: Soak Your Nail in Warm Acetone
To remove the gel nail polish, you'll need to soak your nail in warm acetone. Acetone is a powerful solvent that will break down the gel polish, making it easier to remove. To do this, fill a small bowl with warm acetone and soak your nail in the acetone for 10-15 minutes.
Step 3: Use a Cotton Ball or Orange Stick to Remove the Gel Polish
Once the gel polish has softened, you can use a cotton ball or orange stick to gently remove it from your nail. Be careful not to scrape or peel the gel polish off, as this can damage your nails. Instead, gently rub the cotton ball or orange stick over the gel polish until it comes off.
Step 4: Rinse Your Nail with Water and Apply a Cuticle Oil
Once you've removed all of the gel polish, rinse your nail with water and apply a cuticle oil to help moisturize and protect your nails.
