Now Issuing Refunds for Current Tax Season

The New Jersey Division of Taxation is pleased to announce that income tax refunds for the 2023 tax season are now being issued. Taxpayers can easily file their returns, make payments, and inquire about the status of their refund online through the state's website.
To file your New Jersey income tax return online, visit the Resident Return page. This service allows taxpayers to prepare and electronically file their current year New Jersey return if they filed a New Jersey return the previous year.
Taxpayers can also make payments online through the Online Pay service. This service accepts credit cards, debit cards, and electronic checks. Taxpayers can also inquire about the status of their refund online through the Refund Status page.
