Alana Beard to be Inducted into Mystics Hall of Fame

Former Washington Mystics star Alana Beard will be inducted into the team's Hall of Fame during a ceremony at halftime of a game this season, the team announced Tuesday.
Beard, a three-time WNBA All-Star and two-time All-WNBA Defensive Team selection, played for the Mystics from 2009 to 2012.
During her time in Washington, Beard helped the Mystics reach the WNBA Finals in 2010 and led the league in steals three times.
