The Garage Studio is pleased to offer a Charles Bargue 1826-1883 Drawing Course. This course is designed for beginners and experienced artists alike. Students will learn the fundamentals of drawing, including line, shape, form, and value. They will also learn how to apply these principles to drawing from life. The course will begin with a review of the basics of drawing. Students will then learn how to draw from simple shapes, such as cubes and spheres. They will then progress to drawing more complex objects, such as faces and figures. Throughout the course, students will receive individual instruction from the instructor. The instructor will provide feedback on students' work and help them to improve their skills. Students who complete the course will have a strong foundation in drawing. They will be able to draw from life with confidence and accuracy. The course is open to students of all ages and skill levels. No prior drawing experience is necessary. All materials are provided. Classes are held on Tuesdays from 1:00pm -3:30pm, and Wednesdays from 6:00pm-8:30pm at 1460 5th St. Suite #14 in Berkeley, CA 94710.
